60 Marks Will Be Enough For Passing License Trial
Most of the candidates fail the trial (experimental test) while getting the driver’s license. There are many who fail the test even if they pass in writing. Due to which, it has been found that the number of people making licenses has increased by paying as much as they ask for.
To prevent such distortions, the government is preparing to change the criteria for obtaining a driver’s license. The Department of Transport Management has stated that the preparation is in the final stage. Director General of the Department, Gogan Bahadur Hamal, said that the guideline of experimental examination of license is being changed.
According to him, according to the current criteria, only 25 percent used to pass. As the number of failures is high, various malformations have appeared and work is being done to implement it in Fagun. The trial also has various parameters. There is a system of getting license only after passing all, there is a system of failing as soon as you touch any one. Numbering those different parameters and failing in one will not be a problem to pass in the other. “According to the new law, if everyone’s number is added to 60, he will pass,” he said.
At present, the criteria is to pass with 60 marks. The department claims that the criteria will reduce the middleman tendency in the license. There is news in today’s Kantipur daily.
