Prachanda's Political Mentor Khamba Singh Dies
Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s political mentor Khamba Singh Kunwar (Qazi) has died at the age of 95.
According to Yam Bahadur Pariyar, Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Chitwan, Kunwar died this morning while undergoing treatment at the Bharatpur Federal Hospital in Bharatpur. He was admitted to the hospital recently due to pneumonia and kidney failure.
Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to pay his last respects to Kunwar. According to family sources, he will be cremated at Devghat today after paying his last respects by flying the party flag.
